Actor Prashant Bajaj is set to appear in Gopichand Malineni’s upcoming action thriller Jaat, alongside Bollywood superstar Sunny Deol. Expressing his excitement, Prashant called the experience a “dream come true.”
Landing the Role in ‘Jaat’
Recalling how he joined the film, Prashant shared, “I met director Gopichand Malineni through my friend Jay Prakash. We discussed a potential role, and after some time, Gopichand Sir found me suitable for a part in Jaat.”
The film, produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with People Media Factory, also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra in key roles. Jaat is expected to deliver high-octane action sequences and intense drama, adding another powerful film to Malineni’s directorial portfolio.
A Transformative Look and Role
Prashant emphasized that his character in Jaat is unlike anything he has played before. “My look in this movie is on another level. It takes two hours to get into the character. Gopichand Sir has done a brilliant job crafting this role. The character is intense, brutal, and something I have always wanted to portray,” he revealed.
Working with Sunny Deol: A Learning Experience
For Prashant, working alongside seasoned actors like Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda has been an invaluable learning experience. “At his age, Sunny Sir still works out for two hours every day. That discipline is inspiring for my fitness journey. Randeep bhaiya is incredibly caring and ensures everyone is comfortable on set,” he said.
Prashant also shared an anecdote about filming challenging action sequences. “While shooting with a harness, I faced some difficulties, but Sunny Sir and the action team were extremely supportive. His guidance helped me navigate the tough scenes smoothly,” he added.
With Jaat gearing up for its release, Prashant sees this as a major milestone in his career. “This film is a jackpot for me. My focus is on taking up more challenging and impactful roles, especially grey characters that leave a lasting impression on the audience,” he concluded.
