BYU football has made another strong local addition to its 2026 recruiting class, with Lehi High School wide receiver Legend Glasker announcing his commitment to the Cougars.
Glasker, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound athlete, made the announcement late on Easter Sunday. The rising star is also the cousin of current BYU linebacker Isaiah Glasker.
A Family Moment of Pride
Glasker shared his excitement and gratitude on Instagram, thanking his family, coaches, and mentors. “I just want to start off by saying thank you, Lord, for blessing me with this great journey of recruiting. My Grandma Glasker would be so proud of me,” he wrote.
He continued, “I also want to give a huge shout out to my parents for walking me on a straight path. I want to thank my coaches and mentors for helping me be the best I can be. With that being said, I am proud to announce my commitment to @byufootball. I can’t wait to get started and be a Coug.”
Glasker also praised BYU’s Passing Game Coordinator, Fesi Sitake, for his support, posting a “huge shoutout” on X (formerly Twitter).
A Rising Star in Utah’s Class of 2026
Rated as a three-star recruit by 247Sports, Glasker is the 23rd overall prospect in the state of Utah for the 2026 class. He joins an impressive list of local talent that BYU is working to secure for the future.
Glasker chose BYU over several other FBS programs, including Cal, Utah State, UNLV, Washington State, Hawaii, Colorado State, and San Jose State.
Impressive High School Performance
During his junior season at Lehi High School, Glasker put up standout numbers with 37 receptions for 781 yards and 10 touchdowns. His most notable performance came last October in a game against Lone Peak, where he caught nine passes for 226 yards and two touchdowns. One of those touchdowns included an incredible one-handed catch.
Looking Ahead to BYU Football
Glasker’s commitment adds to BYU’s growing momentum in the 2026 recruiting class. The Cougars will look to develop Glasker’s athleticism and skills as they continue to build a competitive team for the future.
